NZ Honey Group has over 15 years’ experience providing Specialist Honey Contract Packing services. We have long established partnerships with the finest brands in France, Germany and China, and have supplied our services to over 100 clients in over 16 global markets, we also assist other local NZ entities with a range of packing solutions.

Our new facility in Hastings, drives industry leading innovation in quality control and packing practices. Furthermore, operating at the highest of quality standards internationally as one of only 3 honey companies in New Zealand to achieve the SGS quality standard.

Fully digitised records, provide our contract pack customers with transparency and peace of mind throughout the entire packing, storage and distribution process.

What is your capability?
  • Two packing lines, Liquid and Creamed

What accreditations do you have?
  • SQF Accreditation
  • RMP (NZ Government Risk Management Program)
  • Organic RMP – we have organic honey and work closely with other organic beekeepers
  • Six monthly and annual audits
Can you help me develop products unique to my brand?
Yes, our marketing team can partner with you from a product development, packaging and end-user perspective.
What is your standard lead time?
  • We have a standard lead time of 6-8 weeks from order confirmation to delivery.
  • Ideally a 12-month forecast will ensure we allocate the hives to the right locations during the bee-keeping season (Nov – Feb)
Can you take care of logistics?
Yes, we arrange logistics and delivery to your appointed destination with the correct certification.
Can I use UMF on my label?
  • We endorse the UMF® Quality Trademark
  • To use the UMF® Mark, you must be an association member and be able to confirm you have a supply agreement with us
  • For this there is a modest investment, but if you choose not to join, stating MGO content is an option
What is your minimum quantity order?
1200 kgs (four 300kg honey drums)
What are your payment terms?
50% deposit on placing your order, the balance once copies of shipping documents are supplied.
