SQF Stands for “Safe Quality Foods”.
It’s one of the GFSI-benchmarked certification programs, which are recognized worldwide, and are required by many retailers and food manufacturers in order for them to purchase your company’s products.
RMP stands for risk management programme, and is set by the Ministry of Primary Industries. An RMP is documents written by the business to ensure we are complying with food safety requirements, and allows us to export and produce honey. It is made up of a set of procedures to ensure we have identified hazards, how the hazards are controlled, monitoring and record keeping. At NZHG our certification is audited by a third party, AsureQuality.

NZHG is a certified brand with the UMF association. UMF® stands for Unique Mānuka factor, which is recognised globally, for its independent quality standard for Mānuka Honey. Each manuka honey product that carries the UMF trademark, must pass stringent Unique Mānuka Factor Honey Association (UMFHA) quality, grading and rating tests.

Organic Hives, Organic extraction, Organic processing / packing certifications.
At NZHG we are organically certified, that includes organic hives, honey and the ability to pack organic honey. An Organic certification means gives customers confidence that the product has been produced.

NZHG is kosher certified and are audited by The Kosher Kiwi Licensing Authority, headed by Rabbis N. Friedler and A. Tal.

NZHG is Halal certified, and are audited by The Federation of Islamic Associations of New Zealand
NZHG is a part of the FernMark Licence program. This programme supports authentication and country of origin for our product.
